Surrender in action
Surrender in action
is the way of
the karma yogi
It’s not that we need to renounce the world
and go live in a monastery
But rather,
we can be contemporary monks
who are in the world
but not of it
yet are fully engaged with each action
with each service
not running away, avoiding or hiding
but rather
With the process, fully present with the journey
And at the same time,
Detached from the action
Free
Whole
Complete
Each action, each moment, is going from complete to complete
Rather than,
incomplete to complete
Such is the way
of Surrender in action.
Call of the times
The call of the times
is actually quite subtle.
If you can hear beneath all the noise…
all the ideas and opinions…
you will hear a quiet voice within, calling you inside.
The call of these times is not so much an external one,
as it is an internal call.
A beckoning to peace.
A yearning for wholeness within.
This can only be achieved by going inside, becoming quiet.
Doing good work in the world.
And finding the self beyond the thoughts, the one who is watching.
The one who is loving.
Silence of the mind
Silence of the mind.
Quieting the mind so that,
You can be aware of your own being.
The mind is a tool, a servant in fact.
The mind is not the ruler of your inner-kingdom… you are.
Be kind to the mind, and also give it direction, give it permission to rest.
When we come into the inner-silence of the self,
We can know truth, we can know peace.
Om shanti.
The art of giving
Like any craft
there is an art
to giving.
We know,
“it is in giving that you receive”
it is in sharing this art, honing this art
that we are liberated from the ego
When we give
we are free
we are true
we are devtas (bestowers)
we are not self-absorbed
or worried
To give
in such a way
we must simply
have a true heart
and be real
The art of giving is
sincere
genuine
honest
pure.
Slow Down
Slow Down

Speed Up
Self-Realization.
